Pauline J Grauerholz

Pauline June Grauerholz, 85, of Cedar Falls, died from complications of Parkinson's Disease, Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center.  Pauline was born June 1, 1925 at Smith Center, Kansas, the daughter of Ed & Myrtle (Cornwell) Prosser.  She married Waldean Grauerholz August 10, 1947 at Athol, Kansas.  Pauline received a teaching certificate from Fort Hays State College, taught country schools for four years and was employed as the manager of Younkers jewelry department for 10 years.

Survivors include her husband, Waldean Grauerholz, of Cedar Falls; one son, Gary (Kathleen) Grauerholz, of Marshalltown; two daughters, Connie Grauerholz, of Cedar Falls and Cynthia (Tom) Eikeland, of Zephyrhills, Florida; and two grandchildren, Jana Grauerholz and Wade Grauerholz.  Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Geraldine Kuhlman and her brother, Acie Prosser.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at St. John Lutheran Church with burial at Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for one hour prior to service time at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the church.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com
