PAUL SCHOEMAN was born March 22, 1939 in Cedar Falls, Iowa the son of Vernon and Eunice (Johnston) Schoeman. He married Audrey Naber June 12, 1959 in Cedar Falls. Paul attended Iowa State University then actively farmed until 1983 when he went into the drainage tile business. He was the current president of the New Hartford Lions Club. Paul died Wednesday, August 23, 2000 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa at the age of 61 years.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey of New Hartford, Iowa; one son, Steve Schoeman and his wife, Kendra, of Leawood, Kansas; one daughter, Julie Schoeman of Cedar Falls; two granddaughters, Regan and Erica Schoeman; his mother, Eunice of Cedar Falls; two brothers, David Schoeman of Denver, Colorado and Bruce Schoeman of Willmar, Minnesota; and one sister, Marilyn Dow of Seattle, Washington.Paul was preceded in death by his father.
A Celebration of Life was held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2000 at First Presbyterian Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls. A memorial fund will be established.
