PAMELA SUE MYTHALER, 59, of Jacksonville, Florida and formerly of Cedar Falls, died at home Thursday, January 15, 2004.  Pam Mythaler, a wonderful wife of 40 years, was born in Waterloo, Iowa. She raised three daughters (Tami, Jodi and Marci) and has 7 grandchildren who are dear to her heart. Pam is also survived by her mother, Betty Strumpel of Waterloo and her sister, Kathy Thompson of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Her favorite joys in life were times spent with her family and friends. While living in Seattle, Washington, she owned a hair salon for 10 years, and she and Ron were presenters in Marriage Encounter for 7 years.  She moved to Jacksonville with Ron in 1990 where they soon joined Deermeadows Baptist Church. Pam became a Bible Study Fellowship leader and loved the opportunity to learn and grow in God's Word. She truly cherished the friendships she made. Pam always wore a smile and personified God's love and grace to others. She taught us to enjoy every minute of every day and to make the very best of every situation. She left us with a verse to commemorate her life; "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 Graveside committal services were 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2004, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Hospice.
