Oletha is survived by one son, Clanence (Della) Haeflinger of Lucama, North Carolina; three daughters, Mae (David) McKinley of Minot, North Dakota, Ruth Schild of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Rachel (Terry) Ward of La Porte City, Iowa; eleven grandchildren, Diane (Alan) Freidt of Minot, North Dakota, Sherry (Mark) Morrison of Vacaville, California, John (Suzanne) Haeflinger of Henderson, Nevada, Daniel Haeflinger of Laguna Beach, California, Donna (Leonard) Woodward of McKinney, Texas, Howard (Susan) Kostelecky of Fremont, North Carolina, Daniel (Sherrie) Kostelecky of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Joanne (Rick) Brown of Marion, Iowa, Rodney Schild of Waterloo, Iowa, and Matthew Ward and Rebecca Wood, both of La Porte City, Iowa, and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, one sister, Leona Gerhardt and one son in law, Myron Schild.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2006, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with burial at Zion Cemetery in Sumner, Iowa. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
