SERVICES: 11:00 am Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls

VISITATION: One hour before the service

MEMORIALS: Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls NORMAN (DOC) G. HANSON, 87, of Cedar Falls, died at his home on Friday, January 26, 2007. He was born December 16, 1919 at Waukon, Iowa the son of Hans A. and Minnie S. Nelson (Hanson). Doc graduated from Cedar Falls High School and Normal School (UNI). He was a veteran of World War II in the United States Army having served in the European Theater and received the rank of Lieutenant. Doc taught Social Studies for 38 years, teaching in Dike, Dundee and New Hampton, Iowa.
Doc is survived by cousins Esther Peters and Dave (Cindy) Peters, both of Cedar Falls, and Sylvia Feuerhelm of Waterloo, Harriet Hanson, Florence Schlake, Mildred Osterholz and Lorna Fruechte all of Waukon, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with visitation one hour before the service. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls
