Myrna C Patterson

Myrna C. Patterson, 73, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.  Myrna was born January 7, 1936 in Latimer, Iowa, the daughter of Jens & Edna (Oleson) Christensen.  She married Donald Patterson in 1954 and they later divorced.

Survivors include four sons, Roger (Sue Albert) Patterson, Jim (Jody) Patterson, and Mike (Jackie) Patterson, all of Cedar Falls and Todd (Nancy) Patterson, of Hudson, Iowa; one daughter, Anita (Chad) Wolf of Cedar Falls, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren; three brothers, Volney Christensen of Alden, Iowa, Allen (June) Christensen, of Clarion, Iowa and Merlin Christensen of Clarion, Iowa; and two sisters, Alice (Paul) Christensen, of Belmond, Iowa and Eleanor (Telbert) Tonderum, of Dows, Iowa.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lloyd Christensen, and one sister, Helen Woltjer.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Hudson United Methodist Church with burial at 2:00 p.m. in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Dows, Iowa.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before service time at the church.  A memorial fund will be established.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
