MILO "MIKE" N. GRANDON, 81, of Janesville died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at the Shell Rock Healthcare Center in Shell Rock, Iowa. Milo was born February 20, 1925 in Cedar Falls, Iowa the son of Arthur & Jesse (Marks) Grandon. He attended Finchford and Cedar Falls Schools and graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1942. Milo married Marjorie A. Reinke April 23, 1955 in Miami, Oklahoma. He was employed at John Deere & Company in Waterloo for 33 years, farmed in Black Hawk County, and was Owner/Broker, along with Marjorie, of Midtown Realty in Janesville for the last 28 years. He was a member of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors for 26 years and also a member of the Waterloo Elks Club for 42 years. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of Janesville, Iowa; one son, Monte Grandon of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida; two daughters, Robbin (Wes) Sorge of Janesville, Iowa, Linda (Will) Hyde of Homestead, Florida; one step daughter, Jackie (Robert) Zrostlik of Waterloo, Iowa; four grandchildren, Talere Sorge, Kendyl Sorge, Robert Woock, and Nicole Woock; three step grandchildren, Scott Schaefer, Chad Schaefer, and Amy Schlung; two brothers, Jess Grandon of Cedar Falls and Lloyd (Pat) Grandon of Dike, Iowa; and three sisters, Betty (Max) Ward of Cedar Falls, Alberta Jepsen of Omaha, Nebraska and Wanda Boysen of Waterloo. Milo was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Linford & Walter Grandon. Memorial services were 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery.  A memorial fund will be established.
