MILDRED BOYSEN KROG was born November 13, 1918 at Dike, Iowa the daughter of Ole and Metina (Boysen) Krog. She graduated from Dike High School and was employed as a bookkeeper at two banks, for Dr. McCoy and then for Iowa Golden Dairy for many years. She then was employed as a companion for Cedar Companions for 18 years retiring in 1990.
Survivors include her cousins and friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and one brother at birth.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2002 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Fredsville Lutheran Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to Fredsville Lutheran Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
