Mike Andorf

Mike (Bah) August Andorf , 58, of Hudson died at his home Wednesday, April 5, 2017. He was born October 19, 1958 in Cedar Falls, the son of Gerald and Evelyn (Joens) Andorf. He graduated from Hudson High School. He worked at Land O Lakes, Rath Packing and for construction for 30 years, the last 20 years with Holmes and Braden, where he was well known for his masonry skills.  Mike enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, golfing, riding his Harley, flirting  with women and drinking beer with his friends.

Mike is survived by his mother, Evelyn Andorf, of Dike; one brother, James (Kathy) Andorf, of Marion; two sisters; Joy (Leonard) Wallace, of Jacksonville, Fl. and Sally (Brett) Phippen, of Ottumwa; three nephews, four nieces, three grand nieces, and one grand nephew. He was precede in death by his father.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2017 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with inurnment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hudson. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Sunday , April 9 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed the family. Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
