Michael Lee Hunzeker

Michael Lee Hunzeker, 61, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 27, 2017, at  Unity Point Health Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo. He was born April 4, 1956, in Norman, Oklahoma, the son of Myron E. and Joan C (Caldwell) Hunzeker. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1978 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. Michael loved his children, grandchildren and his pets. He donated to many animal rescues.

Michael was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.

He is survived by one son, Alex Hunzeker, of Cedar Falls and one daughter, Lauren (Neil) Brandt, of Marion; two grandchildren, Ryenne Sandra and Cayden Michael Brandt; one brother, Randal S. (Kim) Hunzeker, of Peoria, Ill. And one sister, Ann E. (Greg Falada) Hunzeker, of Germantown Hills, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
