Maylene D. Frink, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the Western Home Deery Suites.  She was born July 7, 1932 in Rice Lake, WI.  She was raised by her maternal grandparents, and received her education in Minnesota and Iowa.  Maylene attended ISTC (UNI), where she met Dick Frink, whom she later married in Pipestone, MN.  Together they raised two sons, Rich and Dave.   Maylene and Dick grew the family business, Rainbow Greenhouse, started by Dick's father, Warren.  For many years they helped the business flourish until their retirement in 1991.  Maylene was very active in the United Congregational Church Boards, committees, choir, Sunday School and providing cakes and salads when needed.  She loved family, God, Country, and being "River Rats" with her family on the Mississippi.

Maylene is survived by her son, Dave (Linda) Frink, of Waterloo; a daughter-in-law, Jacque Frink; four grandhchildren, Nicole (Steve) Jackson, Tom Frink, Michael (Angie) Frink, Ben Frink, and four great grandchildren, Evan and Graham Jackson, Logan and Ryder Frink.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a son, Rich Frink, and her sister, Betty Broten.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Island Park Beach House, with private burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Memorials may be directed to the Western Home Communities.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
