MAXINE D.
REIS, 76, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. She was born December 26, 1928 at Aberdeen, South Dakota, the daughter of Oscar and Mayme (Hertle) Kienest. Maxine married Daniel M. Reis on October 15, 1947 at Aberdeen, South Dakota. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2001. Maxine was retired from St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen.
Survivors include her two sons, Bruce (Tammy) Reis of Missoula, Montana and Mark (Sue) Reis of Waterloo, Iowa; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Srelda Vining of Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and four sisters.
Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2005, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the family.
