Mary J Rhoads
February 3, 1957 — January 9, 2009
Survivors include her husband, James Rhoads, of Waterloo; her parents, Verlin and Dorothy Crook, of Waterloo; three brothers, David (Linda) Crook, Steven Crook, and Dan (Diana) Crook, all of Waterloo; two nieces, Katrina and Angie, and Mary's dog, Sammy.
Mary was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, a nephew, Brian, and her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Colleen Rhoads.
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Monday, January 12, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4—6:00 pm Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls.
