Mary B Rellihan

Mary B. Rellihan, 79, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at her home.  Mary was born February 8, 1932 in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Maurice & Teresa (Streit) Cullen.  She married Robert "Bob" Rellihan May 23, 1953 at Ft. Dodge, Iowa.  He preceded her in death July 8, 2002.  Mary graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1952, was a public school teacher in Iowa, and was a unit secretary at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, retiring in 1989.

Survivors include five daughters, Cindy Gomis of Creston, Iowa, Denise (Kurt) Mattison of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Marcia Rellihan (Steve Styron) of Waterloo, Patty (Don) King of Cedar Falls, Anna Schilling of Marco Island, Florida; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and one brother, Terry (Mary Ellen) Cullen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011, at St. John Lutheran Church with burial at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour prior to service time at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the church or the UNI Foundation.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
