Mary Lee Marron, 85, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at the Western Home Communities Windhaven Assisted Living Center in Cedar Falls. Lee was born December 26, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Gurney & Madaline (Bennett) Zepp. She married Eugene L. "Gene" Marron September 21, 1946 in Baltimore. He preceded her in death June 13, 2012. Lee graduated from Catonsville High School in Baltimore, Maryland, was the office manager for Mary Lee's Auto Glass and later for her husband's business, Appraisers, Inc. She served in the Arrowhead Angels of Boy Scouts of America Baltimore Area Council and was an altar guild member in the Episcopal Church as well as a past Vestry member. Survivors include two sons, Gene L. (Martha) Marron, Jr. of Baltimore and Michael L. (Amy) Marron of Avon Lake, Ohio; a daughter, Sherry (Ron) Padavich, of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister, Joan Zepp. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
