Mary L Miller

Mary L. Miller, 92, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, September 30, 2011, at Western Home Communities Stanard Family Assisted Living Center.  Mary was born November 1, 1918 in Paterson, New Jersey, the daughter of Wes & Catherine (Ruit) Seiferth.  She married Ernest Miller, Jr. July 11, 1942 in Paterson.  He preceded her in death January 3, 1995.  Mary was employed as a baby nurse for many years and was involved in Prison Fellowship, Church Women's Ministries and Hospice.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Bruce) Adkins of Cedar Falls and Eileen (Dale) Vander Wilt of Clive, Iowa; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Madeline Van Dyke.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Orchard Hill Church with burial at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Wood Cemetery, Pella, Iowa.  Public visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for one hour prior to service time at the church.  Memorials may be directed to Prison Fellowship through Orchard Hill Church.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
