Mary Easter

Mary Easter, 95, of Waterloo, died Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Lakeview Lodge, Friendship Village, in Waterloo. Mary was born December 7, 1918, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Albert & Marie Brinley. She married Howard Easter in 1941 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death September 21, 2011. Mary graduated from Malcolm Price Laboratory School in 1936 and attended Iowa State Teachers College. She was an English Teacher in both Illinois and Iowa. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son; Larry Easter. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to Care Initiatives Hospice. Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
