MARTHA W. (DIETZ) WAGNER was born October 7, 1912 in Plainfield, Iowa the daughter of George & Edith (Masten) Dietz. She married Ralph W. Wagner December 17, 1932 in Galena, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1996. Martha died Friday, January 10, 2003 at the Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center of the Western Home Communities at the age of 90 years.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald E. (Judy) Wagner of Spring Creek, Nevada, George C. (Ruby) Wagner of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Phyllis (Alan) Sanders of Carl Junction, Missouri; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one brother, Charles Dietz of New Hampton; and three sisters, Effie Conklin of Plainfield, and Mildred Caswell and Edith Vohsman, both of Nashua. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter, one great grandson, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at First United Methodist Church with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to the Western Home.
