Marlene S Wilson

Marlene Seeley Wilson, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at Mallard Point Retirement Residence in Cedar Falls. She was born March 18, 1934 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, the daughter of Nelville and LaVerne (Wilson) Seeley. Marlene married Neil B. Wilson on January 22, 1956 in Rapid City, South Dakota. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1996. She was a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane (Ron) Ebert, of Waterloo; two sons, Kenneth Austin Wilson of New Hampton, Iowa and Kurtis Daniel Wilson of Mason City, Iowa; a granddaughter, Allison Grace Wilson, of Mason City, and a brother, John Wilson (Julie) Seeley, of Harvard, Massachusetts.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorial services will be 2:30 pm Friday, November 6, 2009, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with private family burial at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 3—7:00 pm Thursday, and one hour before service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
