MARLENE G. SAMEC was born February 23, 1943 in Maple Leaf, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Leona (Lauck) Arndt. She married Virgil Samec June 28, 1961 in Maple Leaf, Iowa. Marlene died Friday, December 15, 2000 in Waterloo, Iowa at the age of 57 years.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Samec, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; three sons, Roger Samec and his wife, Teresa, of Waterloo, David Samec of Cedar Falls, and Dean Samec and his wife, Rebecca, of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren, Carlie, Jesse Lucas, Morgan, Mitchell, and Drew; and her brother, Ronald Arndt of Cedar Falls. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services were 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2000, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family.Guestbook
