Mark Allen Stansbery

Mark Allen Stansbery, 60, of Dike, Iowa, died Friday, December 21, 2012, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. Mark was born April 16, 1952 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Ivan & Mary (Bandfield) Stansbery. He married Pamela Johnson September 9, 1976 in Hudson. Mark graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, served in the Army Security Agency during the Vietnam Era, and was currently employed in management at TDS Automation in Waverly. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Stansbery, of Dike; his son, Erik Stansbery, also of Dike; his daughter, Shaliah (Jeremy) Fager, of New Hartford; five granddaughters; his parents, Ivan & Mary Stansbery, of Traer; three brothers, Gene (Fran) Stansbery of Perrysburg, Ohio, Don (Carol) Stansbery of Traer and Tony Stansbery of Gilbertville; his sister, Judy (Steve) Sundberg, of Anchorage, Alaska; and a brother-in-law, Larry Kueck, of Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin. Mark was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Kueck. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with a time of sharing starting at 6:00 p.m. A memorial fund will be established.
