MARJORIE BELLE ZWANZIGER, 99, of Springfield, Missouri, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Monday, January 9, 2006, at the Maranatha Lodge Nursing Home in Springfield, Missouri. She was born December 18, 1906 in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of Fred Morton and Mary Roxana (Webster) Anderson. She married Kenneth L. Zwanziger on February 8, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1998. Marjorie graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1924 and was an executive secretary at Litchfield's and John Deere & Company in Waterloo for several years. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Waterloo. Survivors include her son, David (Karen) Zwanziger, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; her daughter, Julie Bradley, of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Zwanziger Page (Brian) of Cedar Falls, Jennifer (Stephen) Hillman of Bettendorf, Iowa, Adam (Meagan) Zwanziger of Iowa City, Iowa, and Kate Bradley of Springfield, Missouri, and four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Mallory and Julia Hillman, and Marrin Zwanziger. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and husband; three brothers, Max, Ralph and Ray Anderson; one sister, Bernice Anderson; and a son-in-law, Beryl Bradley.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2006, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.  Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
