Marjorie Kay Mohl, 67, of New Hartford died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. Marjorie was born November 11, 1938 in Cedar Falls, Iowa the daughter of Sidney B. & Marjorie Lorraine (Alhelm) Baker. She married Rudy Mohl September 14, 1963 in Preston, Minnesota. Marjorie was employed at the College Square Hy-Vee bakery for 5 years and the with the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home as a CNA for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, Rudy, of New Hartford: three sons, Richard (Cheryl) Gnade of Webster City, Iowa, Dean Mohl of Waverly, Iowa and Donny (Donna) Mohl of Springfield, Missouri; two daughters, Sandy (Bill) Dietrick of Sheldon, Iowa and Ginger (Robert) Marker of Popejoy, Iowa; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; one sister, Vicki (Terry) Smith of Cedar Falls; one niece, Becky Smith of Waterloo: one uncle, Frank (Bev) Alhelm of Mesa, Arizona; and two cousins, Evelyn Frink and Betty (Bob) Barrett of Waterloo.

Marjorie was preceded by her parents, one brother, Steven Baker; an infant son, Kim Allen Gnade and an infant daughter, Mary Ann Mohl.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2006 at First Christian Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for one hour prior to service time at the church on Friday. Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church.
