Marjorie F Herme

Marjorie Frances Herme, 100, of Cedar Falls, died, Thursday, February 10, 2011, at the Western Home Communities Stanard Family Assisted Living Center.  Marjorie was born March 11, 1910 at Grundy Center, Iowa, the daughter of Victor & Maude (Hopkins) Vilmont.  She married Norman Herme in 1935 in Eldora.  They were later divorced.  Marjorie was a member of the Methodist Church in Eldora.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Herme of Minneapolis, Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one son, Ronald Herme (when he was 5); her brother, M. W. Vilmont; and her sister, Bernice Allen.

Inurnment graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Eldora Cemetery, Eldora, Iowa.  Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
