MARJORIE B. FISH was born May 10, 1921, at Greene, Iowa, the daughter of Earle A. and Grace (Terrill) Baker. She married David Charles Fish January 17, 1943 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He preceded her in death August 4, 1983. Before her retirement she was a guidance counselor at West High School in Waterloo. Marjorie died Monday, November 24, 2003 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the age of 82 years. Within a half hour of her death her great-granddaughter, Veronica Grace Steffener, was born.
Marjorie is survived by two sons, Dave F. of Cedar Falls, and Donald J. (Janelle) of Davenport, IA. Two daughters, Marjo (John) Lane of Alma, Colorado, and Diane Priest of Seattle, Washington. Four grandchildren, five great –grandchildren, and one sister, Beth Mast of Bozeman, Montana.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, Ruth Thompson and one brother, Richard Baker.
Memorial services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa.
