Survivors include her son, Rex (Bonnie) Smith, of Largo, Florida; eight grandchildren, Stewart (Audrey) Smith, Shannon Smith, Sally Jones, Sindy Welch, Darrell D. Essen, Jr., Margie (Jerome) St. John, Tessia Mathes, and Tracy Smith; ten great grandchildren, Tyson Smith & Emma Ball, Vaughn Smith, Kirsten Jones & Thomas Wall, Chelsea Smith, Cody Nehring, Keya Smith, Rebecca St. John, Nathan Mathes, Jessica Smith, and Amanda Smith; two great great grandchildren, Adeline Rose Smith and Draven Thomas Wall; a brother, Dwayne Bell, and a sister, Gertrude Iddings, both of Phoenix, Arizona.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a great grandchild, Melissa Mathes.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Memorials may be directed to Iowa Hospice, 3835 W 9th St, Waterloo, IA 50702 .
