Marion V. Clay, 85, of Hudson, Iowa, died at her home on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. She was born October 28, 1928 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the daughter of Bernard and Mabel (Morris) Doran. Marion married Willard D. Horton and he preceded her in death in 1984. She married Roger L. Clay on November 6, 1999 at Crossroads Assembly of God in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2012. Marion worked at Plastic Enbedment in Attleboro, Massachusetts for many years, and was an in home health caregiver. Survivors include two sons, Dave (Marlena) Gasper of Bozeman, Montana and Michael (Barbara) Horton of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Vivian (Kenneth) Wilson of Hudson, Iowa and Kathleen Gross of Bucksport, Maine; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a brother, Harold (Joan) Doran, of Seekonk, Massachusetts. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a brother, Bernard Doran and two sisters, Jenny Flemming and Ilene Murphy. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with inurnment at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family.
