Marilyn L. Cox

Marilyn Lou Pattee Cox, 89, of Janesville, Iowa, died at her home on Monday, July 12, 2021.  She was born March 16, 1932 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth and Alice (Morgan) Pattee.  Marilyn married Delos Cox, Jr. on October 12, 1958 at Janesville Methodist Church.  She was a 1949 graduate of Janesville High School and was Assistant Treasurer of a Savings & Loan.  Marilyn was employed by banks in Waverly and Waterloo for 46 years and was a realtor and manager of low rent housing.  She was a member of Life Church in Waverly and was past President of American Business Women of Waterloo & Cedar Falls.  Marilyn enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Waterloo Bowling "600" Club.  She also enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and camping.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Delos Cox, of Janesville.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at Life Church in Waverly, with burial at Washington Chapel Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be one hour before service at the church.  Memorials may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice or the church.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
