MARIE B. WOODS,
81, of Cedar Falls died Monday, January 16, 2006 at Sartori Memorial Hospital. Marie was born March 4, 1924 in Colfax County, Nebraska the daughter of Joseph & Pauline (Koudelka) Weltruski. She married Robert B. Woods June 4, 1942 in St. Edward, Nebraska. Marie worked for various employers including Jordan's Nursery, Sartori Memorial Hospital, Motel 6 and McDonalds.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Woods of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Nancy (Michael) Cline of Metamora, Illinois, Deborah (Dan) Burkett of Evansdale, Iowa; six grandchildren, Steve (Martie) Cline, Danton (Anita) Burkett, Brandon "B.J." Burkett, Scott (Amanda) Cline, Kami (Mike) Williams and Jenny (Dan) Leman; eight great grandchildren; and one brother, Milo Weltruski of Cedar Falls. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Joseph, Frank, and John; and two sisters, Libby Horn and Mildred Haas.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
