MARIE L. PEDERSEN,
80, of rural Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. Marie was born May 29, 1925 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of August & Marian (Gutknecht) Andorf. She married Robert E. Pedersen September 22, 1944 in rural Hudson, Iowa. He preceded her in death June 24, 2004.
Survivors include three sons, Darrel (Jeanette) Pedersen of Hudson, Iowa, Dean (Janet) Pedersen of West Union, Iowa and Russell (Sandra) Pedersen of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Jane (Dana) Lee of Faribault, Minnesota; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren; one brother, Gerald (Evelyn) Andorf of Dike, Iowa; and two sisters, Anna (Ernest) Bernard of Wellsburg, Iowa and Lorraine Joens of Cedar Falls. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Harold Andorf.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
