Marie A. Danielsen

Marie "Toni" Danielsen, 73, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, December 30, 2011, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. Toni was born December 31, 1937 in Waterloo, the daughter of Cecil & Leona (Spencer) Jacobsen. She married Melvin T. Danielsen July 25, 1959 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death May 12, 1987. Toni was employed at John Deere, Valley Park Elementary School, Freeman's Café, and Personalized Name Plate. Survivors include her son, Kendil (Carlene) Danielsen, of Cedar Falls; her daughter, Jodi Danielsen, of Readlyn, Iowa; four grandchildren, Shana (Jeremy) Harder, Sherese Danielsen, Shantel Danielsen and Sommer Danielsen; and one great grandson, Henry Perkins Harder. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; her brother, Dennis Jacobsen; and her sister, Carol Blackford. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2012, at Cedar Heights Baptist Church with private burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home & Cremation Service, and for one hour prior to service time at the church on Monday.
