MARIA E.
HARRENSTEIN, 78, of Cedar Falls, died at home on Wednesday, February 2, 2005. She was born October 19, 1926 in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of August and Maria Kalk. She married Maurice Harrenstein on May 7, 1947 at Wrzburg, Germany.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice, of Cedar Falls; three sons, James, Jerry and Gary Harrenstein, all of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a brother and sister, both of Germany. Maria was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2005, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. A memorial fund will be established.
