Margery Roberts

Margery Roberts, 97, of Wausau, Wisconsin and formerly of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau.  Margery was born April 22, 1921, on a farm near Clarksville, Iowa, the daughter of William & Alda (Brown) Maifeld.  She married Raymond Roberts on December 25, 1943 at Camp Roberts, California.  He preceded her in death March 16, 2012.

Survivors include her son, Gary (Cynthia) Roberts of Kronenwetter, Wisconsin; six grandchildren, Jeanette (John Ilgen) Francis of Waterloo, Lenette Tangen of Cedar Falls, Michael (Sandra) Roberts of Waterloo, Nathan (Crystal) Roberts of Cedar Falls, Amity (Ryan) Olson of Sauk City, Wisconsin and Adam (Marlene) Roberts of Kronenwetter, Wisconsin and 15 great grandchildren.

Margery was preceded in death by her parents and husband; one son, Larry Roberts; three brothers and one sister.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be one hour prior service time.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
