Margaret M Hesse

Margaret M. Hesse, 96, of Waterloo, died Friday, October 21, 2011, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.  Margaret was born April 12, 1915 in Clarksville, Iowa, the daughter of Wiley and Alice (Angelow) Sherbourne.  She married Henry Hesse December 18, 1935 in Clarksville. He preceded her in death May 4, 1975.

She is survived by three daughters, Wilma (Craig) Cox, and Carma Eick, both of Waterloo and Mary Lou Kovarik of Ely, Iowa; four sons, Lloyd (Billie) Hesse, Robert (Jen) Hesse, and Wayne (Wanda) Hesse, all of Waterloo, and Richard Hesse of Clarksville, Tennessee; fifteen grandchildren,  twenty four great  grandchildren and five great great grand children.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Lorence Hesse; six brothers, Elmer, Earl, Harold, Floyd, Ernest, and Forrest Sherbourne; four sisters, Ethel Brandos, Bessie Wessendorf, Bertha Parson, and Grace Forry.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, with burial at Garden of Memories, both in Waterloo.  Visitation will be 4:00—7:00 pm Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, and one hour before the service at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
