Margaret C. Diercks

Margaret C. Diercks, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. She was born June 20, 1928 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Austie (Jones) Belfield. Margaret married John Leonard Broline July 11, 1946 in Cedar Falls and he preceded her in death March 26, 1976. She married Roy Ronald Diercks September 18, 1977 in Cedar Falls and he preceded her in death December 19, 1999. Margaret was employed for many years at A & R Café, which was located on West First Street in Cedar Falls. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and First Christian Church in Cedar Falls. Margaret is survived by one daughter, Regina (Larry) Frigen, of Oakes, North Dakota; one son, Robert Broline, of Leonard, North Dakota; five grandchildren, Lynette Robinson, Lori Salberg, Lona Mccoy, Latina Coombs, Jana Broline, and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, and one son, Richard Broline. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial following at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls.
