MARGARET HELEN BEHRENS
, 69, of Waterloo and formerly of Cedar Falls, died at home of natural causes on Wednesday, November 23, 2005. She was born January 29, 1936 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Carl & Maleta (Dick) Behrens. Margaret married James R. "Bud" Kilman in Cedar Falls and they were later divorced. She was a graduate of Cedar Falls High School and received her B.A. in English from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Margaret was employed for many years at the Iowa Workforce Development Center.
Survivors include her son, Scott (Patricia Callahan) Kilman of Chicago, Illinois; two daughters, Lita Wester and Terry Kilman, both of Waterloo; a grandson, Dustin Wester of Cedar Falls, and her brother, Kenneth (Marjorie) Behrens of Cedar Falls.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Jerome Kilman; a brother, Dale Behrens, and a sister, Dorothy Sweet.
Graveside inurnment services will be at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls. A memorial fund will be established.
