MARCIE P. WALTON, 73, of Cedar Falls, died at her home on Saturday, April 21, 2007. She was born November 20, 1933 at Quasqueton, Iowa, the daughter of Floyd and Neva (Madsen) Beebe. She married Leo Walton on December 5, 1953 at New Hampton, Iowa. Marcie was a graduate of Independence High School and Iowa State Teachers College (UNI). She was a physical education teacher with the Waterloo School District for 38 years, retiring in 1993. Marcie was a member of the Rambling Wheels Motorcycle Club for over fifty years.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Walton, of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Cindy (Dean) Nicholson, and a son, Brian (Laura) Walton, both of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren, Amy (Paul) Stover of Buffalo, Iowa, and Bree Nicholson, Kyle Walton and Bryn Lenius, all of Cedar Falls; a great- grandchild, Briar Stover, and a brother, Paul (Marilyn) Beebe of Independence, Iowa.

Marcie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Betty Marie Debower and Ruth Hovey, and a brother, Mahlon Beebe.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with interment at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 6—8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
