Maralee J. Lowcock

Maralee J. Lowcock, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, August 8, 2013, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. She was born November 22, 1929 in Villisca, Iowa, the daughter of Eldred F. and Grace (Steward) Bell. Maralee married Max Lowcock on November 24, 1978 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2010. Maralee was a 1947 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and was the Deputy Clerk of the Juvenile Court for Black Hawk County, retiring in 1990. Survivors include her brother, Bill (Julie) Bell, of Nashua, Iowa, her sister, Dolores Voorhees, of Cedar Falls, a step son, Erik (Christina) Lowcock and a step daughter, Brenda Joyce Coda. Maralee was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 57:00 p.m. Sunday, and one hour before service, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
