MADELINE I. GOODWIN,
86, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home died Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at the Lutheran Home. She was born August 9, 1917 at Juliaetta, Idaho the daughter of Miles Benton & Bertha Maude (Bowers) Pierce. Madeline was united in marriage to Max Kingsley October 24, 1938 in Spokane, Washington and they were later divorced. She married James Clifford Goodwin August 18, 1961 at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He preceded her in death September 4, 1992.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Russ) Towsley of Waterloo; two sons, Larry (Judi) Kingsley of Groveland, New York and Ron Kingsley of Ninilchik, Alaska; eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one stepson, Robert Kingsley; one stepdaughter, Maxine Kingsley Tucker; one granddaughter, two great grandsons; one brother, Thomas Pierce; and four sisters, Louise Hanks, Pauline Sutherlin Margaret Jensen and Frances Phillips.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the Lutheran Home.
