Mabel L Simpson
November 14, 1912 — February 15, 2009
Survivors include her son, Charles (Lori) Simpson, of Des Moines, Iowa; two daughters, Lou Ann Strickland and Loretta (Jim) Fekkers, both of Aplington; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Mabel was preceded in death by her parents and husband; her son-in-law, Phillip Strickland; three brothers, Raymond, Charles and Harold Crain, and her sister, Rosemond Dawson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be 5—7:00 pm Monday and one hour before service at the funeral home.
