MABEL H. DREESMAN was born February 15, 1913, in Lincoln Township, Grundy County, Iowa, the daughter of Harm and Emma Dorthea (Flater) Buskohl. She married Edwin Dreesman on December 14, 1932, at Colfax Center Church in Grundy County, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1997. Mabel died Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, at 88 years of age.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Kimberly L. Prasad, Thomas L. Dreesman and Andrea B. Gaidousek; two great-grandchildren, Devin and Noah Prasad; her daughter-in-law, Carter Dreesman; three sisters-in-law and many cousins.
Mabel was preceded in death by her husband and parents; her son, Gordon Dreesman and a sister, Mary Buskohl, who died in infancy.
Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2001, at Stout Reformed Church, Stout, Iowa, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center, Iowa. A memorial fund will be established.
