Lynn A Vaughn

LYNN ANN WRIGHTVAUGHN was born May 25, 1947 in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne Kenneth and Louise Annette (Olson) Wright. She married Richard Vaughn in 1972 at their home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, they were later divorced. Lynn received her B.A. degree from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio and conducted post-graduate studies at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She was the office manager at Paine, Weber, Mitchell & Hutchins Investment Firm in New York City and was a secretary in the Aerospace Research Department at Iowa State University in Ames. Lynn was a pianist, and enjoyed cooking and riding horses. She died Wednesday, January 23, 2002, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, at 54 years of age.

Lynn is survived by her mother, Louise Olson Wright of Cedar Falls; her sister, Beth Wright of Cedar Falls and two brothers, Wayne Kenneth Wright, Jr. of Gastonia, North Carolina and Lee Owen Wright of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Larry Anton Wright.

Funeral services were 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2002, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Falls. Interment will be at Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Bend Humane Society, 1166 W. Airline Hwy., Waterloo, IA 50703.
