LUIGIA GEMMA
DELISO
was born May 9, 1915 in Vezzano Ligure, Italy, the daughter of Centurio and Caterina (Bocchia) Fazzini. She married Vincenzo DeLiso on August 26, 1943 at Vezzano Ligure, Italy. Luigia died Saturday, December 19, 1998 at Windsor Care Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa at 83 years of age.
She is survived by her husband Enzo, of Deerfield, Illinois; her daughter, Caroline Gosnell and her husband Jim of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Erik of Cedar Falls and Amy of Iowa City, Iowa and two great grandchildren, Tyler and Trenton Gosnell.
Luigia was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Domenico, Pietro, Beppe, Attilio and one in infancy and four sisters, Elvira, Ida, Gigetta and one in infancy.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Friends may call one hour prior to service.
