LUELLA MARTHA STOCK, of 1901 Iowa St. in Cedar Falls, was born September 13, 1907 in Franklin County, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Lena (Felsman) Manifold. She married Kenneth L. Stock on May 27, 1934, in Clarion, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1995. Luella and her husband farmed in the Latimer and Dumont areas, then moved to Cedar Falls in 1952. She was past Noble Grand and held other offices in the Rebekah's Lodge in Cedar Falls and Dumont. Luella was a member of church circles at Dumont United Methodist Church, Dumont, and United Church of Christ in Cedar Falls. She died Saturday, January 1, 2000, at Urbandale Healthcare Center in Urbandale, Iowa, at 92 years of age.
Luella is survived by her daughter, Sandra Mulligan and her husband Michael, and her granddaughter, Linde Mulligan, all of Ankeny, Iowa; and her two sisters, DeAlda Ackerman and Kate Swanson, both of Cedar Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; her brother, Clarence Manifold, and her three sisters, Merie Stamp, Opal Williams and Lola Manifold.
Funeral services were 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2000 at Dumont United Methodist Church, with burial at Dumont Cemetery, both in Dumont, Iowa. A memorial fund will be established.
