Lucille Hansen

Lucille Hansen, 89, of Waterloo, died Monday, November 14, 2011, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Waterloo.  She was born September 11, 1922 at Bristow, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Hattie (Gruise) Miller.  Lucille married Howard C. Hansen on August 19, 1940 at Northwood, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on January 8, 1980.

Survivors include two sons, Larry (Paula) Hansen of Harpers Ferry, Iowa and Dennis Hansen of Colorado; three daughters, Darlene (Andrew) Winters of Cedar Falls, Pat (Darwin) Stock of Waverly, Iowa and Gloria (Dale) Bondy of Waterloo; thirteen grandchildren, Tammy Smeltzer, Randy Hansen, Nicole Power, Mike Hansen, Tina Collier, Denny Hansen, Jodi Hansen, Steve Winters, Lisa Jaeger, Todd Winters, Shelley Kersten, Joe Bondy and Tara Bondy; several step grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Miller, of Greene, Iowa and one sister, Kathleen Schempf, of Lakewood, Colorado.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two grandchildren, Marieshell Winters and Gary Lee Hansen; a great great grandchild; four brothers, Vern, Harry, Bill and Leslie Miller, and three sisters, Bertha Rague, Dena Hansen and Alice Heinz.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 4—6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, and one hour before the service Friday, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
