Louise Heckroth

Louise E. Heckroth, 69, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.  Louise was born August 11, 1948 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Edwin & Beulah (Newsome) Hutton.  She married Donald Heckroth December 28, 1966 in Cedar Falls.  Louise was a 1966 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and was involved in banking and childcare.  Her favorite things to do were reading and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Don of Cedar Falls; her son, Matthew (Jen) Heckroth of Littleton, Colorado; her daughter, Tammy (Jack) Emkes of Marion, Iowa; three grandchildren, Isabella, Christy and Cassy; and two brothers, Mike (Nancy) Newsome of Cedar Rapids and Jim Newsome of Waterloo.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Jackie Newsome.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.  Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
