LOUIE CAMPBELL HARRIS was born January 18, 1926 at Redding, Iowa the son of Cyrus Carl & Angie Malinda (Campbell) Harris. He married Mary A. Murphy February 18, 1950 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls. Mary died September 23, 1999. Louie was employed as an iron worker with John G. Miller Construction. He died Friday, October 10, 2003 at his home at the age of 77 years.
Survivors include two brothers, Beryl "Buzz" (Evelyn) Harris of Cedar Falls, Troy (Roberta) Harris of Cape Coral, Florida; three sisters, Wanda (Ceja) Miller of San Diego, California, Kathy (Harold) Kothenbeutel of Bedford, Iowa, and Ila Elaine Nyberd of Salem, Oregon. Louie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother, Junior Carl Harris, and four sisters, Lora Esther Howard, Margarette A. Jacobsen, Josephine Louise Harris, and Patricia Rose Harris.
Memorial services were 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2003 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
