Lorraine A. Muller

Lorraine A. Muller, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Western Home Martin Center. She was born January 31, 1922 in Harold, South Dakota, the daughter of John L. and Lena (Trey) Claassen. She graduated from Grundy Center High School. Lorraine married Fred W. Muller June 27, 1942 in Holland Iowa. He preceded her in death July 4, 2008. Lorraine loved her flower garden and her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She is survived by two sons, James (Mary) Muller of New Brighton, Minnesota and Robert Muller of Tripoli; two daughters, Carol Mitchell of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Brenda (David) Johnson of Denver, Iowa; eleven grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one great granddaughter, Jordan and three brothers, Laverne J. John L. And Wendell Claassen. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Garden, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before services time at the church on Tuesday.
