Lori Navarro

Lori M. Nelson Navarro, 58, of Waterloo, died Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. She was born June 16, 1954 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Darlene (Lockwood) Nelson. Lori graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1973. Survivors include her very special companion, Bill Hanken of Waterloo; one brother, Chris Nelson of Cedar Falls, and one sister, Dawn (Larry) Bogardus, of Waterloo. Lori was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Linda Schatzberg. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
