Loraine Mirchich

Loraine C. Mirchich, 70, of Cedar Falls, died at her home Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was born December 25, 1943 in Reading, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Thaddeus and Regina (Glenbocki) Zaorski. Loraine married John Mirchich on August 23, 1975 in Reading. She was a teacher for many years in Reading and was also an author. Survivors include her husband, John Mirchich, of Cedar Falls; two sons, Michael (Michelle) Mirchich of Middletown, New York and Anthony Mirchich of Dundalk, Maryland; her parents, Thaddeus and Regina Zaorski, of Reading; two brothers, Paul (Judy) Zaorski of Reading and Ken (Donna) Zaorski of Burnville, Pennsylvania, and two sisters, Paulette Nawa of Reading and Maria (Bruce) Stempo of Burnville. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls.
